Plant Engineer

• Lead process flow, fixture, and tooling design to improve efficiency and product quality
• Commission production equipment in this new plant along with roll forming machines
• Any welding knowledge would be helpful
• Drive planning efforts, capital projects, and strategic manufacturing initiatives
• Create, modify, and manage CAD models and technical documentation
• Manage engineering change processes (ECNs/ECRs) and apply Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles
• Lead and support continuous improvement, Lean initiatives, and CI projects
• Evaluate and implement new technologies, equipment, and manufacturing tools
• Provide hands-on engineering support to resolve complex production issues
• Own deliverables, communicate progress clearly, and demonstrate ongoing professional growth

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related technical field
• Strong manufacturing data analysis skills; able to interpret production trends, metrics, and variances to support process improvement
• Proven ability to lead complex engineering projects from planning through execution with minimal oversight
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams, managing timelines, and aligning projects with business objectives
• Clear, confident communicator across all levels of an organization
• Able to adapt messaging to technical and non-technical audiences
• Provides constructive feedback and facilitates productive collaboration
