Key Responsibilities

Freight & Carrier Management

  • Schedule and track 10–20+ daily shipments across LTL, FTL, and parcel — from pickup confirmation through final delivery
  • Own carrier relationships and hold 3PLs and freight partners accountable to cost and service standards
  • Negotiate spot rates and evaluate carrier pricing to ensure efficient freight spend
  • Resolve shipment delays, routing guide violations, and carrier issues in real time
  • Prepare and manage all shipping documentation: BOLs, commercial invoices, packing lists, and Shipper's Letter of Instructions

Order Fulfillment

  • Manage end-to-end order fulfillment for wholesale, retail, and e-commerce customers
  • Enter and update orders throughout the full cycle in NetSuite ERP
  • Coordinate with warehouse teams to ensure orders are picked, packed, and shipped accurately and on time
  • Work directly with suppliers and customers to resolve order issues quickly

Operations & reporting

  • Track and report on on-time delivery rates, order accuracy, and freight spend
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities and process improvements in our fulfillment operation
  • Support inventory control and inbound shipment scheduling from suppliers

What we're looking for

  • 3–5 years of experience in freight, trucking, or logistics operations — carrier side, 3PL, or shipper side all welcome
  • Proven experience managing high shipment volumes (10+ per day) across multiple carriers and modes
  • Strong working knowledge of freight pricing and the ability to evaluate and challenge carrier quotes
  • Hands-on experience with NetSuite, or another TMS/ERP system (required — not a "nice to have")
  • Experience managing 3PL relationships and holding external partners to SLAs
  • Organized, direct communicator who can juggle multiple open shipments without dropping the ball
  • CPG or beverage industry background is a plus, but not require
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).

  • Carrier and 3PL performance scores
  • Speed of issue resolution on delayed or problem shipments
