Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, hospitality-driven General Manager to lead daily operations, drive sales growth, and build a high-performing team culture. The ideal candidate is passionate about guest experience, local community engagement, coaching and development, and operational excellence. This leader will be responsible for driving profitability, executing local store marketing initiatives, developing team members, and ensuring every guest receives exceptional hospitality.
The General Manager serves as the face of the restaurant within the local community and is expected to lead by example through accountability, positivity, and hands-on leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Growth & Business Development
- Drive top-line sales through strong operational execution and community engagement
- Develop and execute Local Store Marketing (LSM) initiatives to increase traffic, catering sales, and brand awareness
- Build relationships with schools, businesses, fitness centers, healthcare organizations, and community groups
- Analyze sales trends, labor, and food cost metrics to maximize profitability
- Lead catering and off-premise sales growth efforts
- Execute promotions, seasonal campaigns, and grassroots marketing events
Leadership, Coaching & Team Development
- Recruit, hire, train, and retain high-performing team members
- Coach and develop Assistant Managers and Team Members through consistent feedback and accountability
- Create a positive, energetic, and hospitality-focused culture
- Conduct regular training sessions focused on service, food quality, operational procedures, and leadership development
- Lead by example during peak periods with a hands-on management style
Hospitality & Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional guest service and foster a welcoming environment
- Resolve guest concerns quickly and professionally
- Ensure consistent food quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards
- Build relationships with regular guests and community partners
- Promote a culture where hospitality is the top priority
Operations & Financial Management
- Manage scheduling, labor costs, inventory, and food cost controls
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Maintain operational excellence in all areas of the restaurant
- Monitor KPIs and implement action plans to improve performance
- Ensure accurate cash handling and administrative procedures
Qualifications
- 2+ years of restaurant management experience preferred
- Proven success driving sales and leading teams
- Experience with Local Store Marketing and community outreach
- Strong leadership, coaching, and communication skills
- Passion for hospitality and guest satisfaction
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
- Experience managing labor, food cost, and financial performance
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays as needed
