Job Description

PEDIATRIC GASTROENTEROLOGIST

Phoenix, Arizona

Our organization, one of the largest multi-specialty medical practices in the Phoenix metropolitan area, is collaborating with a full-service hospital to find a full-time Board Certified or Eligible Pediatric Gastroenterologist.

This hospital features a Level 1 Trauma/Burn Center and is dedicated to providing exceptional pediatric care. It includes a Pediatric Emergency Department, Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU), and a Pediatric Acute Care Unit. Additionally, there is a well-established Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) Ambulatory Clinic offering both general pediatric and subspecialty services located near the hospital, along with other FQHCs throughout the city that provide pediatric primary care.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Experience and expertise in pediatric gastrointestinal disorders.
  • Proven skills in a wide range of pediatric GI endoscopic and other procedures.
  • Strong teaching abilities and a commitment to education.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

We welcome applications from both experienced physicians and recent Fellows. Additionally, we are open to candidates who require visa sponsorship (J-1 waiver and/or H1B).

While proficiency in Spanish is advantageous, it is not a requirement. Our organization is a non-profit multi-specialty physician group dedicated to serving the underserved communities in Maricopa County. The hospital is a teaching facility that supports nine residency programs, with our physicians serving as core faculty. The Pediatric Residency program is jointly operated with a local children's hospital. We also have affiliations with the University of Arizona College of Medicine in Phoenix and Creighton Medical School, Phoenix Campus.

We provide a competitive compensation package along with a comprehensive benefits program that includes paid vacation, a Continuing Medical Education (CME) allowance with paid time off, and employer-covered medical malpractice insurance (including tail coverage).

We look forward to receiving your CV for consideration.
