Job Description
We are looking for an innovative and committed physician to take on the role of Program Director for our ACGME-accredited Hematology-Oncology Fellowship Program. This position offers a remarkable chance to guide and influence the future of hematology and oncology in a vibrant academic and clinical setting.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage all facets of the fellowship program, ensuring adherence to ACGME standards and institutional guidelines.
Design and uphold a comprehensive, evidence-based curriculum that emphasizes clinical excellence, research, and professional growth.
Guide and assess fellows, promoting a culture of inquiry, empathy, and continuous learning.
Work collaboratively with faculty from various disciplines to enrich educational and clinical experiences.
Lead the recruitment and selection process for fellows.
Engage in clinical care, research, and scholarly activities within our Cancer Institute and Hematology-Oncology Associates.
Board certification in Hematology and/or Medical Oncology.
A minimum of three years of clinical experience following fellowship completion.
Administrative experience and at least three years as an active faculty member in an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency or hematology/medical oncology fellowship.
A proven dedication to medical education and mentorship.
Eligibility for medical licensure in Delaware.
