Job Opportunity: Nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist

Our organization is currently in search of a dedicated full-time nocturnist OBGYN Hospitalist to manage an average of 3 to 14-hour shifts each week, typically from 5 PM to 7 AM. Support will be provided through back-up call from two hospital-employed groups.

Service Line Highlights

• We operate in a small-town community setting, benefiting from the resources typically found in larger academic institutions.
• Our facility features an outstanding Level III NICU and has recently integrated a local Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialist for consultations.
• We promote vaginal birth after cesarean (VBAC) and have anesthesia available on-site.

Compensation and Incentives

• We offer a competitive base salary along with quarterly production incentive bonuses.

Generalist Position Details

• Current hospitalist coverage includes two weekdays each week and all weekends.
• The hospital aims to provide complete weekday night and weekend coverage for generalist groups within the next six months.
• Call schedule is 1:7, with a backup weekend call of 1:6.

Typical Work Week

• One call day per week.
• Post-call day off for primary overnight coverage; if serving as backup, only morning office hours post-call.
• 2.5 to 3 office days each week.
• At least 0.5 day for additional responsibilities.
• We collaborate on all major gynecological surgeries and offer robotic surgical options.

• We share obstetric volume, including a significant number of high-risk cases.
• Current OBGYN residents will receive a monthly stipend until the position start date.
