Job Description
Our organization is on the lookout for OB Hospitalists to become part of our expanding, hospital-based team that supports a rapidly growing women's services program in Central and Southern Delaware.
With approximately 2,800 deliveries each year (1,800 in Kent and 1,000 in Sussex) and ongoing population growth, this position offers a chance to engage in a high-volume, well-supported setting, allowing you the flexibility to tailor the role to align with your career aspirations.
OB Hospitalist Position | Emphasis on Inpatient CareFlexible scheduling options with 24-hour shifts available.
Inpatient-only model—no outpatient clinic duties.
Collaborate with Certified Nurse Midwives (CNMs) and a highly skilled nursing staff.

Modern, centralized unit layout includes:
10 Labor, Delivery, Recovery (LDR) rooms and 4 OB Emergency Department/triage rooms.
2 dedicated Operating Rooms located next to the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU).
Efficiently designed pre-operative, Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU), and postpartum units.
24/7 in-house support from anesthesia, pediatrics, and neonatal specialists.
Staffing adheres to ACOG A-1 perinatal guidelines to ensure safe, high-quality care.
A high-volume program with increasing demand.
A collaborative, team-oriented approach involving CNMs, OB hospitalists, and specialists.
Chance to teach and mentor residents and medical students from various specialties.
