Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting K-12 students as a licensed Occupational Therapist near Renton, WA. In this school-based position, you’ll empower students across all grade levels, helping them achieve success through tailored interventions and collaborative practice. The contract runs from September 2, 2025, through June 12, 2026, offering the chance to make a lasting impact over a full academic year.

Use your expertise to address students' unique needs within a nurturing educational setting. Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other professionals to facilitate skill development for a caseload of approximately 30 students.

Qualifications:

  • Active Occupational Therapist license in Washington State (WA OT licensing required)
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred
  • Passion for working with children from kindergarten through high school
  • Strong communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct and consultative OT services to a diverse K-12 caseload
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Program (IEP) goals in collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams
  • Document student progress and maintain compliance with state and federal guidelines
  • Educate and collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to address students' functional needs
  • Participate in eligibility, IEP, and parent/team meetings as required
