Child Psychiatrist - Per Diem
Job Description
Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care on child behavioral health units, along with concurrent call coverage.
The work schedule can be flexible or set regularly, depending on the needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inpatient rounds and address acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the assistance of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
- Respond to calls and collaborate with psychiatric residents to manage cases.
- Work alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Offer supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when available.
Duties may be carried out independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and may also involve working with residents and/or students in a training environment when applicable.
The starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity bonuses and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
