Hospitalist Nocturnist | Paid PTO | APP Support | Nevada - Reno - Tahoe

Our organization is looking for a full-time Board Eligible/Board Certified Hospitalist Nocturnist to become part of our expanding hospitalist team in the scenic city of Reno, Nevada. Position Overview

Employment Type: Full-time

Schedule: 6 am to 6 pm; 7 days on/7 days off rotation

Call: None

Patient Volume: Generally around 8 admissions per shift (subject to variation)

Practice Setting: Northern Nevada Medical Center, with optional shifts available at Sierra Medical Center

Support/Care Team: APP admission support

Technology: Cerner EMR

Responsibilities

• Work collaboratively with physicians and support personnel.
• Admit, assess, diagnose, treat, and provide general consultations for adult patients with both common and complex health issues.
• Ensure timely completion of documentation, responses to queries, and billing processes.
• Utilize Cerner for documenting patient care.

Qualifications

• Board Certified/Board Eligible in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine (Board Certification must be obtained upon starting).
• Possess an active or the ability to secure an unrestricted medical license in Nevada.
• Both new graduates and seasoned physicians are encouraged to apply.
