Our organization, located in a charming coastal town in Northern New England, is in search of a board-certified or board-eligible Neurologist to become part of our established and collaborative care team. This full-time position is primarily outpatient-focused, providing a unique chance to work in a nurturing, patient-centered setting with limited inpatient duties.

Position Highlights
  • Exclusively outpatient neurology with no hospital or stroke call responsibilities.
  • Emphasis on procedures: EMGs and Botox treatments for migraines, which are in high demand.
  • Core neurology cases include headache, epilepsy, stroke, Parkinson's disease, dementia, multiple sclerosis, muscle disorders, and sleep issues.
  • On-site clinic-based EMG lab where all studies are conducted.
  • Robust support staff, including dedicated Medical Assistants, Advanced Practice Providers, and an administrative team.
  • Flexible scheduling options: Typically one administrative day per week; the current physician alternates between full and shorter weeks for extended weekends.
  • Patient volume averages 14-16 patients per day (60 minutes for new patients, 30 minutes for follow-ups).
Practice Structure
  • One full-time Neurologist currently on staff.
  • One part-time Nurse Practitioner and two part-time physicians (transitioning out as the new hire begins).
  • In the process of recruiting an additional full-time Neurologist and a new Nurse Practitioner to enhance capacity.
