Our organization is currently looking for Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Anesthesiologists to become part of our established anesthesia team at the Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside in Rockford, Illinois.

Opportunity Overview:- Full-time position at Mercyhealth Javon Bea Hospital - Riverside, a 195-bed Level I Trauma Center.
- Standard working hours: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- In-house 24-hour call rotation: approximately 1:2.7 days (one weeknight per week and 1-2 weekends per month)
- Weeknight in-house call: 3:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. following an 8-hour shift.
- Coverage responsibilities: trauma or obstetrics.
- Post-call day off for in-house coverage.
- Pager call rotation: 2nd, 3rd, and 4th calls with an average response time of around 20 minutes.
- Moderate call volume.
- Utilization of EPIC EMR system.
- Administer anesthesia for trauma, high-risk obstetrics (Level III Perinatal Center), orthopedic, and general surgical procedures.
- 14 operating rooms dedicated to trauma cases.
- Support from a Comprehensive Stroke Center.
- Collaboration with MDs, CRNAs (primarily in the endoscopy suite), surgeons, and multidisciplinary teams.
- Engagement in quality improvement initiatives and multidisciplinary care planning.
- MD/DO, board-certified or board-eligible in Anesthesiology.
- Recent, comprehensive trauma experience is essential.
- Experience in regional and obstetric anesthesia is required.
- Capability to deliver high-quality anesthesia in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary environment.
- Strong teamwork, communication skills, and a patient-centered approach.
- Base Salary: $550,000 (General), $630,000 (Cardiac).
- Additional funding of up to $100,000 for student loan repayment and/or sign-on bonus.
