In this role, you will provide specialized consultations for inpatients and outpatients, participate in committees, engage in quality assurance initiatives, and help our facility achieve its performance goals. A strong background in diagnosing, staging, and treating these disorders is essential. Additionally, teaching and mentoring medical students and residents will be a key aspect of your responsibilities. You must also meet the qualifications for an academic appointment at the University of Arizona School of Medicine - Phoenix. The medical center is conveniently situated in the heart of Phoenix, making it easily accessible.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (Minimal On-Call Duties)

**Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) Details: This position qualifies for EDRP, a program designed for student loan reimbursement. Applicants must meet specific eligibility criteria as per VHA policy and submit their EDRP application within four months of starting. Approval, award amounts (up to $200,000), and eligibility periods (one to five years) will be determined by the VHA Education Loan Repayment Services program office after a thorough review of the application. Previous participants are not eligible to apply for this incentive.
