Position Overview

Our organization, in collaboration with a prominent medical school, is on the lookout for a visionary leader to take on the role of Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology. This individual will also serve as Co-Director of the Heart Institute.

  • A 300-bed Level I Pediatric Trauma Center located adjacent to a cutting-edge multidisciplinary outpatient facility.
  • An integrated academic clinical care model that emphasizes the application of clinical research to enhance bedside care.
  • A team of over 70 providers operating across 19 locations in Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
  • More than 20 multidisciplinary clinics available for patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The Division Chief of Pediatric Cardiology will be responsible for:

  • Elevating the program by developing and executing strategies for growth in clinical, educational, and research domains.
  • Continuing to foster a vibrant team of over 40 cardiology professionals, mentoring junior faculty, and expanding the team to address clinical access requirements.
  • As Co-Director of the Heart Institute, establishing and nurturing strong collaborative relationships with the divisions of Cardiac Surgery, Cardiac ICU, and Cardiac Anesthesiology.
  • Utilizing a national and international reputation to enhance the Heart Institute's profile, aiming for recognition as a leading institution both regionally and nationally.
