Position: Radiology Technologist II

Location: Bridgton, ME

Department: Radiology Diagnostic

Available Shifts: Nights and Days

Compensation: Up to $1,492.40 – $2,087.20 gross weekly

Assignment Duration: 12 weeks

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct diagnostic imaging procedures including X-ray, CT, Mammography, Bone Density, Ultrasound, and Special Procedures in accordance with departmental protocols
  • Act as the primary contact for patients, ensuring high-quality service and care
  • Engage in Performance Improvement (PI) and Quality Control (QC) initiatives
  • Assist in maintaining the department's Performance Improvement Program
  • Supervise radiology operations and/or staff in the absence of the Manager/Director
  • Manage department supplies, equipment, and inventory for assigned sub-departments
  • Facilitate scheduling for designated sub-departments
  • Encourage teamwork and exceptional customer service
  • Process and transmit images to PACS
Qualifications

Education, Experience, and Training Requirements:

  • Valid licensure and fluoroscopy permit as mandated by the state
  • As of July 1, 2017, national certifications in two modalities are mandatory
  • Current BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained
  • Familiarity with state and federal regulations is essential
  • A minimum of one year of experience in Acute Clinical Radiography is required
  • Graduate from a program accredited by ARRT
  • Strong computer skills are necessary
