Position Overview:
We are looking for a Board Certified/Board Eligible Urologist with experience in robotic surgery to join our community-based, hospital-employed practice. This role focuses on delivering high-quality, efficient, and patient-centered urologic care, catering to a diverse case mix. The ideal candidate will excel in a community hospital environment, balancing advanced robotic techniques with comprehensive urologic services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver urologic surgical care, including endoscopic, minimally invasive, open, laparoscopic, and robotic procedures as needed, along with the evaluation and management of benign urologic conditions.
- Provide consultations for inpatients and care in outpatient clinics.
- Participate in shared urology call coverage.
- Work collaboratively with Advanced Practice Providers, operating room staff, anesthesia, and nursing teams to enhance patient throughput and experience.
- Offer evidence-based, cost-effective care suitable for a community setting and engage in hospital quality initiatives and service line development.
- Foster strong relationships with referring primary care providers and community specialists.
- Encourage patient education and shared decision-making.
- Engage in peer review and departmental meetings.
Required Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited residency in Urology.
- Fellowship training or significant experience in robotic urologic surgery.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Urology.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Massachusetts and hospital privileges.
- A strong interest in community-based practice and long-term program development.
