Job Description
Our organization is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible OB/GYN to become part of our expanding Women's Health Service Line. This role will involve rotations through our outpatient facilities located in West Islip, Babylon, and Good Samaritan University Hospital in West Islip. We are an integrated healthcare system dedicated to serving the communities of Long Island, New York, comprising six hospitals, three skilled nursing facilities, a regional Home Care and Hospice service, and a community-based agency for individuals with developmental disabilities. With over 17,000 employees and an operating budget exceeding $3 billion, we cater to more than three million residents across Suffolk, Nassau, and Eastern Queens Counties.
In recent years, we have made significant investments in our Women's Health Service Line to establish a comprehensive, integrated program that includes specialties such as OB/GYN, gynecologic oncology, maternal-fetal medicine, urogynecology, and minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. Our OB/GYN team supports approximately 4,700 deliveries each year.
The clinical duties associated with this position will encompass comprehensive care for patients facing gynecologic concerns, including outpatient evaluations, inpatient management, and major surgical procedures. Salary Range: $312,271 - $465,235

Clinical Responsibilities:
- Deliver all services in line with established standards of care while adhering to the ethical principles of the medical profession
- Engage in Graduate Medical Education (GME) activities for fellows, residents, and medical students, including lectures, mentorship, and small group instruction; candidates should show a strong dedication to academic medicine and education
- Participate in after-hours and weekend on-call duties
- Involve in clinical trials
- Implement quality initiatives based on performance metrics
Qualifications:
- Licensed MD or DO in New York State
- Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Robust clinical experience in evaluation and management
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage at all organizational levels to foster a culture of patient safety and contribute to performance improvement
