Breast Imaging Radiologist

• Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic tests for patients with breast conditions, utilizing mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsies.

• Interpret and assess diagnostic images to identify conditions and formulate suitable treatment strategies for patients.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, surgeons, and pathologists, to create and execute personalized treatment plans for patients.

• Engage in regular discussions and rounds with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.

• Educate patients about their health conditions, diagnostic processes, and available treatment options.

• Contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of clinical research, particularly in the field of breast imaging.

• Mentor and instruct medical students, residents, and fellows, supporting the academic goals of the Department of Radiology.

• Keep abreast of advancements in breast imaging technologies and clinical practices through continuous professional development and research.

• Engage in quality improvement initiatives and committees aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.

• Ensure precise documentation of patient assessments, diagnostic results, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes in line with hospital protocols.

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology with a fellowship in Breast Imaging.

• Extensive experience in breast imaging techniques (mammography, ultrasound, MRI, image-guided biopsy).

• Clinical expertise in breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, and interventional procedures.

• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.

• Interest in clinical research, medical education, and teaching.

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with patients and team members.

The salary range for this position is between $440,000.00 and $535,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and will consider various factors, including relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
