Key Responsibilities:Conduct thorough evaluations and diagnostic tests for patients with breast conditions, utilizing mammography, breast ultrasound, breast MRI, and image-guided biopsies.
Interpret and assess diagnostic images to identify conditions and formulate suitable treatment strategies for patients.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including oncologists, surgeons, and pathologists, to create and execute personalized treatment plans for patients.
Engage in regular discussions and rounds with other healthcare professionals to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care.
Educate patients about their health conditions, diagnostic processes, and available treatment options.
Contribute to the design, execution, and analysis of clinical research, particularly in the field of breast imaging.
Mentor and instruct medical students, residents, and fellows, supporting the academic goals of the Department of Radiology.
Keep abreast of advancements in breast imaging technologies and clinical practices through continuous professional development and research.
Engage in quality improvement initiatives and committees aimed at enhancing patient care and outcomes.
Ensure precise documentation of patient assessments, diagnostic results, treatment plans, and clinical outcomes in line with hospital protocols.
Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).
Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology with a fellowship in Breast Imaging.
Extensive experience in breast imaging techniques (mammography, ultrasound, MRI, image-guided biopsy).
Clinical expertise in breast cancer screenings, diagnostics, and interventional procedures.
Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment.
Interest in clinical research, medical education, and teaching.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with patients and team members.

The salary range for this position is between $440,000.00 and $535,000.00 annually. Actual compensation will be determined during the selection process and will consider various factors, including relevant experience, education, internal equity, and academic rank.
