Posting Note: Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Pediatric Hematologist/Oncologist to become part of our expanding and esteemed program at the Center for Cancer and Blood Disorders (CCBD).
This role will primarily be situated at one of our satellite outpatient facilities (Arrowhead or East Valley), where you will deliver exceptional, family-focused hematology and oncology services within a community environment. Additionally, the position entails inpatient responsibilities at our main campus in Phoenix (approximately 6-8 weeks per year), fostering strong connections with the larger division and ensuring seamless continuity of care.

Key Responsibilities- Deliver comprehensive outpatient services in pediatric hematology and oncology at a satellite clinic.
- Diagnose and manage a wide range of benign hematologic conditions and pediatric cancers.
- Provide ongoing care, including survivorship and supportive services.
- Participate in inpatient duties at the main campus (approximately 6-8 weeks annually).
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and program development.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Pediatric Hematology/Oncology.
- Eligible for licensure in Arizona.
- A strong dedication to clinical excellence and teamwork.
The CCBD is among the largest pediatric hematology and oncology programs in the Southwest, featuring over 50 providers and a robust presence in clinical research, subspecialty care, and programmatic expansion.

Position Duties-
Patient Care Services
- Deliver patient care services for which you are clinically privileged, including but not limited to:
- Direct patient care on both inpatient and outpatient bases.
- Subspecialty consultations and follow-up care.
- Diagnostic and therapeutic services/procedures.
- Urgent/emergent care as necessary.
- Aim to provide the best patient and family-centered care.
- Support the hospital's patient satisfaction goals and the division's specific targets.
- Adhere to divisional patient safety and quality care standards.
- Practice contemporary evidence-based medicine.
- Deliver patient care services for which you are clinically privileged, including but not limited to:

Divisional Responsibilities
- Establish and work towards achieving annual goals and objectives (individual, division, hospital).
- Support the medical education programs and activities of the division, including:
- Supervising trainees and allied health professionals in delivering inpatient and outpatient services.
- Conducting teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for trainees.
- Participating in the education and supervision of trainees and allied health professionals assigned to the division.
- Engaging in postgraduate continuing education activities.
- Support the division's research initiatives.
- Contribute to the programmatic growth of the division.
- Assist with satellite efforts of the division when appropriate.
