Academic General Neurologist
Job Description
Our organization is in search of a full-time general neurologist to join the team at our medical center located in Lebanon, NH. The selected candidate will receive an academic appointment at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College, aligned with their level of experience.
We are looking for a clinician-educator dedicated to providing outstanding neurological care while actively participating in a dynamic academic environment. This position emphasizes clinical responsibilities, encourages strong interdisciplinary collaboration, and allows for the integration of scholarly pursuits based on personal interests.
Position Highlights:Outpatient-focused practice with ample appointment durations
Manage a wide range of general neurology conditions with easy access to subspecialty colleagues
Well-balanced schedule: 32 hours dedicated to patient care, 4 hours for administrative tasks, and 4 hours of asynchronous work each week
No on-call duties required
Strong support infrastructure, including integrated clinical pharmacy specialists and pre-authorization assistance
Active involvement in teaching residents, fellows, and medical students
Completion of a neurology residency accredited by ACGME
Board Eligible/Board Certified in neurology (ABMS or AOA)
Capability to obtain and maintain medical licenses in New Hampshire and Vermont
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team-oriented setting
Proven excellence in clinical practice and a strong enthusiasm for academic medicine
Experience four distinct seasons and an active outdoor lifestyle
