Our organization, recognized as a premier center for excellence in the treatment of bleeding and clotting disorders, is looking for an Associate Medical Director to become part of our dedicated team in Peoria, Illinois.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership and strategic direction for comprehensive treatment programs focused on hemophilia, other bleeding disorders, and thrombophilia, collaborating with the Chief Medical Officer and Board of Directors to set objectives.
- Guide the organization in achieving its goals related to participation in research studies, quality improvement projects, and publications that align with our mission to support patients with hematological conditions.
- Engage in clinical practice two days a week, with opportunities for dedicated research time, backed by a skilled research team that facilitates publishing opportunities.
- Focus on adult and pediatric hematology, with no oncology responsibilities, and the option to specialize in areas such as hemostasis, thrombosis, and vascular anomalies.
- Receive mentorship to enhance comfort in treating both adult and pediatric patients.
- Collaborate with residents in a supportive learning environment.
- Competitive salary ranging from $300,000 to $350,000.
- Sign-on bonus of $50,000.
- Eligibility for Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF).
