Position OverviewThe Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at our Peoria campus is seeking four full-time physicians specializing in Maternal Fetal Medicine. The role involves delivering comprehensive healthcare in both inpatient and outpatient environments, as well as engaging in the educational and clinical training of residents and medical students.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver patient care in the field of Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Educate, mentor, and guide residents and medical students in clinical Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Participate in a consultative model, with the option to attend deliveries if desired.
- Work alongside a team of 6 Advanced Practice Providers, ARDMS-certified sonographers, 2 diabetes educators, 2 perinatal nutritionists, and a genetic counselor.
- Collaborate with the Children's Hospital of Illinois and various subspecialties, including Pediatric Surgery and Pediatric Cardiology.
- Prepare and present academic lectures.
- Participate in shared on-call duties.
- Engage in additional tasks and special projects as assigned.
- MD or DO degree.
- Board-certified or board-eligible in Maternal Fetal Medicine.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Illinois.
- Excellent interpersonal skills with a strong ability to work collaboratively.
- Proven experience in teaching residents and medical students.
- Interest in pursuing academic leadership roles and engaging in scholarly activities.

The salary range for this position is set between $545,000 and $700,000 per year, with compensation being competitive and reflective of qualifications and experience, while also considering internal equity.
