CDL A Flatbed Company Driver

Our organization is currently seeking experienced dedicated flatbed truck drivers. We transport fabricated steel from our facilities located in West Jordan, Utah; Pocatello, Idaho; Las Vegas, Nevada; and El Mirage, Arizona, to construction sites across Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, and Washington. Additionally, we handle back-haul loads returning to clients near our terminals in Arizona and Utah. We prefer drivers who reside within or close to our delivery routes to promote a healthy balance between family, home, and work life.

What to Expect as a Driver with Us:

Compensation:

• Starting pay at $0.63 per mile (practical miles, both loaded and empty). Pay increases to $0.65 after 6 months, $0.68 after 12 months, $0.69 after 3 years, and $0.70 after 5 years.
• Additional compensation of $50.00 for tarping back-haul loads when required by the shipper.
• Hourly pay begins at $25.00 in Utah and $28.00 in Arizona (with an increasing hourly pay scale based on tenure with our organization) for any load under 100 miles, plus mileage pay.
• A bonus of $100.00 for passing a clean safety inspection.

Driving and Hiring Area:

We transport fabricated steel from our facilities in West Jordan, Utah; Pocatello, Idaho; Henderson, Nevada; El Mirage, Arizona; and Phoenix, Arizona, to various construction sites in Arizona, California, Las Vegas, Nevada, Washington, and Oregon. We also handle back-haul loads returning to customers near our terminals in Arizona and Utah. Local routes are available in Arizona and Utah.

We are looking for drivers who live within or near our delivery routes to ensure a favorable balance between family, home, and work life. There may be instances where jobs require travel to other locations across the United States, so flexibility and a willingness to go where the work takes you are essential.

Requirements:

• Must possess a Class A CDL.
• A minimum of 1 year of flatbed driving experience is required; 2 years is preferred.
• No more than 2 moving violations within the past 12 months.
• No speeding violations of 15 MPH or more in the last 3 years.
• No rollovers or abandonment incidents.
• Ability to secure freight manually.
• Must successfully pass a DOT physical and drug screening.
