Job Opportunity: Hematologist/Oncologist Faculty Position

Our organization is actively seeking a full-time Hematologist and/or Oncologist to join our faculty team. We are in search of a dedicated physician who is passionate about serving an urban, ethnically diverse, and underserved community within a vibrant and supportive academic environment. The facility is conveniently reachable via public transportation and is accessible by car from various locations across New York City, New Jersey, and Long Island.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administer chemotherapy infusions and conduct consultations.
  • Engage in teaching residents and medical students.
  • Participate in clinical research initiatives.
  • Provide comprehensive care in both inpatient and outpatient settings for patients under the Department of Medicine's Hematology and Oncology Services.
  • Comfortably manage hematological malignancies and coagulation disorders.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • MD degree with board certification or eligibility in Hematology and Oncology.
  • Possession of a valid New York State medical license, DEA registration, and Medicaid number.
Working Conditions

This position offers a faculty appointment at our institution, aligned with the candidate's credentials, experience, and qualifications. The role includes a competitive compensation package, which ranges from $342,000 to $367,000 annually, inclusive of on-call coverage and faculty practice distributions throughout the academic year.
