Anesthesiology Opportunity in Ohio - 7+ weeks paid time off + $200k Medical School Loan Repayment!

EXCITING OPPORTUNITY:
We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Anesthesiologist to become part of our established, hospital-based team. This role involves leading a medically directed program that supervises four Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNAs).
COMPENSATION PACKAGE:
- Base salary starting at $552,465, which aligns with the 50th percentile of MGMA for recent graduates, with additional compensation based on experience.
* A 5% reduction applies for those who have not yet achieved board certification, with salary adjustments made upon certification.
Contract Details (2-year term):
- Vacation: 272 hours of Paid Time Off (PTO)
- CME/Books & Journals: 5 days of PTO and up to $5,000 for educational expenses
- Deferred Compensation: 457b plan allowing deferral up to the IRS limit of $23,500 annually before taxes, with no matching contributions.
- Retirement/Savings Plan: 403b plan permitting deferral up to $23,500 annually before taxes for those under 50, and $31,000 for those over 50, with a dollar-for-dollar match up to 2% of base salary.
- Relocation Assistance: Up to $10,000 paid directly to a moving company
- Malpractice Insurance: Coverage under a claims-made policy with limits of $2,000,000 per claim and $6,000,000 aggregate.
- Health Insurance: A minimal premium is deducted from the physician's paycheck.
- Liquidated Damages: A non-compete clause of 70 miles for 2 years, or liquidated damages equivalent to one year’s salary.
- On-Call Compensation Program: Details provided by the CFO.
- Medical School Loan Repayment: Up to $200,000, with $25,000 per year for each year of service commitment.
- Residency Stipend: Up to $25,000, contingent on a service commitment of up to 2 years.
- Sign-On Bonus: 15% of the base salary, capped at $100,000, payable upon contract signing and forgiven over 2 to 4 years based on the bonus amount.
- Bonus Opportunities: Potential bonuses up to 10% of salary.
PRACTICE INFORMATION:
- Location: Southern Ohio Medical Center in Portsmouth, OH
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday, from 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. (with cases commencing at 7:30 a.m. and potential for extended hours due to additional surgeries).
- Staffing: Comprising 8 Anesthesiologists and 18 CRNAs.

- Shared call with 2 CRNAs
- Weekday call: 1:5, from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m.
- Weekend call: 1:5, from Friday 7:00 a.m. to Monday 7:00 a.m.
- Post-call day off
- Compensation for call (CERP) program available.
