Our organization in Rockford, Illinois, is actively looking for Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Medical Oncologists to become part of our growing Oncology program.

This is a remarkable chance to contribute to the development of a newly established Cancer Institute within a stable, physician-led, fully integrated healthcare system.

Opportunity:

Salary Range: $575,000-$750,000

  • Practice at the newly launched Cancer Institute (May 2025) located on the grounds of our facility.
  • Collaborate with a dedicated Oncology team that includes Hematology, Radiation, and Medical Oncologists.
  • Receive support from Advanced Practice Providers, Oncology Nursing, Social Work, and leadership from Managers and Directors.
  • Benefit from an excellent referral network from primary care providers.
  • Engage in a physician-led, team-oriented practice environment with opportunities to increase patient volume and influence program development.

Departmental Overview:
  • A comprehensive Cancer Institute promoting multidisciplinary collaboration.
  • Integrated oncology services encompassing medical, radiation, and hematologic care.

Qualifications:
  • MD/DO - Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
  • Completion of fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology.
  • Residency training from an ACGME-accredited Internal Medicine program.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative mindset.
  • A keen interest in expanding and building a patient caseload.

Compensation & Benefits:

We provide a highly competitive initial salary guarantee along with a comprehensive benefits package:

Salary Range: $575,000-$750,000
