Position Overview
Our organization is currently in search of a Board Eligible/Board Certified General Pediatrician to join the Department of Pediatrics at our Children’s Hospital – Indio Outpatient Pavilion, in collaboration with a local health system. This state-of-the-art facility houses various pediatric subspecialists, along with on-site Behavioral Health and Dental services.
We are particularly interested in candidates who are eager to become part of the Coachella Valley community, which boasts a childhood population exceeding 135,000. Proficiency in Spanish is highly desirable, and we welcome applications from recent graduates!
In addition to an attractive salary, this position offers a paid differential. Clinic hours are from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Thursday, and 8 AM to 4 PM on Fridays. The on-call requirement is one day per month, covering evenings from 5 PM to 8 AM on weekdays or from 8 AM to 8 AM on weekends or holidays.

Indio is situated 70 miles east of our main campus and provides easy access to hotels and resorts in Palm Springs, located just 23 miles to the west. Known as the Festival City, Indio is among the fastest-growing areas in the Coachella Valley and is conveniently located 30 miles from the stunning Joshua Tree National Park.
Compensation & Benefits
The starting base salary for this role ranges from $255,000 to $305,000, depending on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be provided during the recruitment process.
