POSITION OVERVIEW:

  • We are a vibrant Rheumatology practice looking to expand our team by adding a Board Certified/Board Eligible physician to collaborate with our existing Rheumatologist.

  • Our Rheumatology specialists focus on delivering care to patients with complex immunologic conditions, supported by two advanced practice nurses (APNs) who excel in managing fibromyalgia, musculoskeletal issues, and stable immunologic patients.

    • APNs are responsible for triaging new patients to ensure they receive the appropriate level of care, whether from an APN or a physician.

    • A dedicated support team is in place to handle scheduling, referrals, prior authorizations, and specialty pharmacy requirements.

  • Our office is conveniently located near a major medical center, an innovation and education facility, a new cancer center, and the downtown area.

    • We have on-site laboratory and pharmacy services.

  • The incoming physician will have opportunities for regional outreach initiatives.

  • There is potential for teaching and research collaboration with a local university, although this is not a mandatory aspect of the role.

  • The salary range for this full-time clinical position is between $310,000 and $355,000.

    • This range is an estimate and may vary based on factors such as the critical need for the position, the candidate's experience and qualifications, community demand, and other relevant considerations. Additional compensation may include bonuses or incentives based on performance metrics.

QUALIFICATIONS:

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Must hold a valid medical license to practice in the state.

  • Licensed by the Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the state to prescribe controlled substances, if applicable.

  • Board certified or board eligible in the relevant specialty. Must obtain and maintain medical staff membership and appropriate privileges.

  • Eligibility as a provider for Medicare, Medicaid, and other federal health programs is required.

  • Must meet all qualifications to participate in our professional malpractice and liability coverage programs.

Demonstrates the necessary knowledge and skills to provide patient care that aligns with the preferences, goals, and needs of the patients served.
