Our organization is currently in search of a full-scope, board-eligible/board-certified OB/GYN to join our team. We welcome new graduates to apply!

Position Overview:

  • Current hospitalist coverage is available two weekdays each week and throughout the weekends.
  • The hospital aims to establish full weekday night and weekend coverage for the generalist teams within the next six months.
  • Call schedule is 1:7, with backup weekend call at 1:6.

A typical work week includes:

  • One call day.
  • A post-call day off if you are the primary overnight coverage; otherwise, if serving as backup, you will have morning office hours post-call.
  • 2.5 to 3 office days.
  • At least half a day for OR duties.
  • We collaborate on all major gynecological surgeries and offer robotic surgery options.
  • We prioritize family values and foster a team-oriented environment.
  • OB volume is shared among the team, including many high-risk cases.
  • Current OB/GYN residents will receive a monthly stipend until their start date.

Our healthcare facility is a non-profit, physician-led hospital and serves as the largest employer in the region. We benefit from a substantial private endowment that ensures our financial stability. We provide care to approximately 300,000 residents across seven counties, including Greenwood, Abbeville, Laurens, Saluda, McCormick, Edgefield, and Newberry. Our medical group comprises 60 primary care physicians, 53 specialists, and 44 hospital-based physicians.
