Key Responsibilities- Flexible scheduling options for day and evening shifts
- Provide care in Acute Care Surgery, including Trauma, Emergency Surgery, and Critical Care
- Work at a 737-bed tertiary/quaternary care academic health center
- Engage in a Level 1 trauma center, recognized as the busiest Emergency Department in Virginia
- Perform bedside procedures such as chest tube placements, central lines, and arterial lines
- Conduct wound repairs, manage drains, and execute incision procedures
- Oversee patient management from initial consultation through their hospital stay
- Instruct patients, families, and staff as part of teaching responsibilities
