Overview of the Neurologist Position:

Key Responsibilities:Veteran-Centered Care:

• Provide thorough neurological services focusing on health maintenance, disease prevention, patient education, and management of neurological disorders.

• Encourage shared decision-making with veterans and their families to achieve the best health outcomes.

Clinical Excellence:

• Conduct neurological assessments and create personalized treatment plans for a variety of neurological conditions.

• Oversee preoperative and postoperative care for neurology patients.

• Manage outpatient neurology clinics and offer inpatient consultations as required.

Quality Improvement:

• Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives to enhance care delivery.

Clinical Leadership:
