Breast Surgeon
Job Description
Our organization is looking for an academic breast surgeon to join our full-time faculty at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level. Ideal candidates should be board eligible or board certified by the American Board of Surgery, with specialized fellowship training in Breast Surgical Oncology or Surgical Oncology with a focus on breast care. We seek individuals with outstanding clinical and technical abilities, along with a strong passion for teaching, research, and collaborative multidisciplinary patient care.
About the Center for Breast HealthThe Center for Breast Health has maintained full accreditation from the American College of Surgeons' National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) since 2011. Additionally, it is recognized as a Breast Imaging Center of Excellence by the American College of Radiology's Commission on Quality and Safety and The Commission on Breast Imaging. As part of our ongoing campus transformation, we are thrilled to announce the opening of a new, state-of-the-art breast center in the summer of 2026. Here, our breast surgeons will collaborate closely with the multidisciplinary breast care team to deliver comprehensive services to patients dealing with breast diseases.
About Our OrganizationWe are a county-owned, nationally recognized academic medical center and tertiary referral facility, equipped with 731 licensed beds. As one of Ohio's largest and most comprehensive healthcare providers, we boast over 700 primary care and specialty physicians. All active staff physicians within the Department of Surgery hold faculty positions at the Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine.
