As a Cardiologist, your role will involve assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients who require specialized care. You will be part of a collaborative team model, where primary and specialty care providers partner with hospital affiliates, community specialists, and skilled nursing facilities to deliver high-quality, evidence-based medicine to a diverse and expanding patient population.

  • Conduct thorough physical assessments on patients with specialized conditions.

  • Design and implement care plans for these patients, including prescribing medications, exercises, and other treatments, as well as conducting tests such as echocardiography, stress testing, vascular ultrasound imaging, nuclear imaging, and cardiac device clinic evaluations.

  • Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to manage patient care effectively, ensuring continuity through information exchange with external health and social agencies.

  • Act as a liaison between primary care providers and specialists, consulting on patient care issues.

  • Educate and counsel individuals and groups regarding specific healthcare needs, serving as a specialist in your field.

  • Contribute to the development of health education programs.

In this role, you will be recognized and rewarded for your contributions in an environment that challenges you while providing clear guidance on achieving success. Opportunities for professional development in other roles of interest will also be available.

Required Qualifications:

  • Graduation from an accredited Medical School or School of Osteopathic Medicine.

  • Board Certified or Board Certified Eligible in Cardiology.

  • Current active DEA licensure/prescriptive authority or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.

  • Current active Massachusetts DPH Controlled Substances Registration or the ability to obtain it post-hire, in accordance with state regulations.

  • Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification may be required based on specialty.

  • We are committed to shaping the healthcare system of the future.

  • As a Fortune 6 company, we prioritize innovation and change, striving for excellence in all we do.

  • Through our diverse family of businesses and inspired individuals, we are building a high-performance healthcare system that serves more people in more effective ways than ever before. We seek team members who are decisive, intelligent, and quick to act.
