Adult Psychiatrist - Per Diem
Job Description
Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible or Board Certified Adult Psychiatrist to become part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care for adult behavioral health units, along with concurrent call coverage.
The work schedule can be flexible or set regularly, depending on the needs of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inpatient rounds and address acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the involvement of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
- Respond to calls and assist psychiatric residents in managing cases.
- Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary treatment team.
- Offer supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
Tasks may be carried out independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and in a training environment, may include working with residents and/or students when available.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. This figure represents the base pay only and does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which are determined by the department's compensation plans. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
