Our organization is looking for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to become a part of our dedicated team serving critical access hospitals. The Emergency Medicine Physician will be tasked with assessing, diagnosing, and treating individuals who present with urgent and emergent medical issues in the emergency department. The ideal candidate will be flexible, a team player, and dedicated to providing compassionate and efficient care in a critical access setting.
Locations of Our Critical Access Hospitals:- Boscobel Area Hospital & Clinics - Boscobel, WI
- Moundview Hospital & Clinics - Friendship, WI
- Palmer Lutheran Hospital & Clinics - West Union, IA
- St. Elizabeth's Hospital & Clinics - Wabasha, MN
- St. Joseph's Hospital & Clinics - Hillsboro, WI
- Tri-County Hospital & Clinics - Whitehall, WI
Physicians enjoy the flexibility to practice across these various locations, with the option to work at some or all sites based on personal scheduling preferences and the needs of the organization.
Experience in emergency medicine, rural healthcare, or critical access hospitals is advantageous. Shifts typically range from 12 to 24 hours in rural emergency rooms.

Applicants must have completed an accredited graduate medical training program and be board certified or eligible in the specified medical field. Additionally, candidates should possess or be able to obtain a license to practice in our multi-state region without any restrictions. Medical staff within our system will oversee advanced practice clinicians, and may also be required to provide outreach services as part of their responsibilities. Teaching students, residents, fellows, or clinical staff is a fundamental aspect of our Medical Education philosophy and is expected of all medical personnel.
