Location: Overton Brooks VA Medical Center, Shreveport, LA

Key Responsibilities and Requirements
  • Base salary range: $240,000 to $385,000 annually

  • Work schedule: Monday to Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

  • Supervising the Medical ICU team, including Medical Residents

  • Providing Critical Care consultations in the Surgical ICU alongside Medical Residents and Critical Care Fellows

  • Engaging in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows

  • Conducting inpatient consultations for Pulmonary cases

  • Responsibilities will encompass clinical practice and educational duties for Pulmonary fellows, residents, and medical students

  • Faculty appointment at the affiliated Louisiana State University Health and Science Center, based on qualifications

  • Must possess a current, full, and unrestricted medical license from any U.S. state

  • Preferred qualifications: Board Certified or eligible in Pulmonary and Critical Care
