Join Our Expanding Pediatric Genetics Team

We are excited to invite Pediatric Medical Geneticists and Metabolic Geneticists to become part of our collaborative and growing academic team at a nationally recognized children's hospital.

Key Responsibilities

• Work within a supportive division consisting of 2 Pediatric Medical Geneticists, 2 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs), and 7 Genetic Counselors, with plans to expand to 4 physicians.
• Enjoy a flexible role that allows for either 100% clinical practice or designated time for research and teaching.
• Collaborate with the Department of Molecular Genetics and Genome Sciences, engaging in innovative biomedical research led by a prominent investigator, backed by a $55 million investment in research facilities and cutting-edge laboratory space at University Research Park.
• Utilize advanced cytogenetic, molecular, and biochemical laboratories.
• Participate in the exciting relaunch of genetics fellowship and counseling programs.
• Provide consultation for all newborn screenings through a contract with the State of Oklahoma.
• Deliver comprehensive services, including chromosomal, molecular, and biochemical testing, genetic counseling, and teratogen information.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Board certification in Pediatric Medical Genetics or Metabolic Genetics.
• Strong commitment to patient care and collaboration within a multidisciplinary team.
• Interest in research and teaching is highly encouraged.
