We are in search of a mid-career physician or a recent graduate who is board-certified or board-eligible in Clinical and Metabolic Genetics. While experience in metabolic/genetic disorders is highly regarded, leadership experience is a plus, though not mandatory.

We are a dedicated and collaborative care team focused on the assessment, treatment, and ongoing management of pediatric patients with metabolic disorders. Our approach emphasizes comprehensive, family-centered care for CCS clients, and we work closely with state programs, including California's Newborn Screening Program. Candidates can expect enhanced offerings as the program expands, including the development of ERT protocols. You will treat children with a variety of metabolic disorders while also participating in general genetics clinics and providing consultation services to our busy inpatient units. Our Children's Center features the largest NICU in Northern California, a 20-bed CV/PICU, and active general pediatrics wards. You will have the chance to collaborate with a wide range of skilled pediatric subspecialists, including those in neurology, cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, and more.

What We Are Seeking

  • Board-certified or board-eligible Clinical/Metabolic Geneticist

  • CCS Paneled - if you are not currently paneled, we can assist you with this process

  • Preferred experience in metabolic genetics

  • Interest or experience in leadership and program development

  • Ability to manage a diverse range of pediatric genetic disorders

  • Dedication to collaborative, multidisciplinary care

  • Passion for enhancing health outcomes for children with rare and complex conditions
