With robust administrative support, a skilled Advanced Practice Provider (APP), and a flexible practice model, this position is perfect for a general urologist who values independence and long-term career development. Candidates with a focus on urologic oncology, particularly prostate cancer, will find ample opportunities to expand their practice within a general urology setting. About the Hospital:- 330 licensed beds serving as a regional referral center
- Advanced imaging capabilities including a 64-slice CT scanner and Open Concept MRI
- State-of-the-art DaVinci robotic equipment for innovative procedures
- First dedicated Women & Children’s Center in the area
- Level III trauma designation ensuring comprehensive emergency care
- Opportunity to establish and expand a full-scope general urology practice
- Access to a busy cancer center, with potential for growth in oncology-related urology, particularly prostate
- Strong referral network from nearby rural communities
- Collaboration with an experienced Nurse Practitioner
- Office space readily available
- Robotics training preferred (da Vinci Xi surgical system with Trumpf bed and full positioning attachments available)
- Option for a 4-day workweek
- Call coverage: 10 days per month (5 days contractual + 5 days paid)
- Established anesthesia coverage for efficient surgical scheduling
- Dedicated surgical days supported by a fully equipped surgical team
- Manageable call burden, described as not overly demanding
