Job Description
Location: Phoenix, AZ
Shift: Monday to Friday, Daytime, 8 AM - 5 PM

Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care Services
- Deliver patient care services within the scope of clinical privileges, which includes but is not limited to:
- Providing direct care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
- Offering subspecialty consultations and follow-up care
- Conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
- Addressing urgent and emergent care needs as required
- Aim to provide exceptional patient and family-centered care
- Contribute to the hospital's patient satisfaction objectives as well as specific divisional targets
- Adhere to divisional standards for patient safety and quality of care
- Utilize contemporary evidence-based practices in medicine
Divisional Responsibilities
- Work towards achieving annual goals and objectives for physicians (individual, division, and hospital-wide)
- Support the medical education initiatives within the division, which includes:
- Supervising trainees and allied health professionals in delivering inpatient and outpatient services when applicable
- Conducting teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for trainees
- Participating in the education and oversight of trainees and allied health professionals assigned to the division
- Engaging in postgraduate continuing education activities for the division
- Encourage and support the division's research initiatives, including those led by other division members
- Assist in the programmatic growth of the division
- Support satellite initiatives of the division when appropriate
