Pediatric Pulmonologist

Location: Phoenix, AZ

Shift: Monday to Friday, Daytime, 8 AM - 5 PM

Patient Care Services

• Deliver patient care services within the scope of clinical privileges, which includes but is not limited to:
• Providing direct care for patients in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Offering subspecialty consultations and follow-up care
• Conducting diagnostic and therapeutic procedures
• Addressing urgent and emergent care needs as required
• Aim to provide exceptional patient and family-centered care
• Contribute to the hospital's patient satisfaction objectives as well as specific divisional targets
• Adhere to divisional standards for patient safety and quality of care
• Utilize contemporary evidence-based practices in medicine

Divisional Responsibilities

• Work towards achieving annual goals and objectives for physicians (individual, division, and hospital-wide)
• Support the medical education initiatives within the division, which includes:
• Supervising trainees and allied health professionals in delivering inpatient and outpatient services when applicable
• Conducting teaching rounds, lectures, and conferences for trainees
• Participating in the education and oversight of trainees and allied health professionals assigned to the division
• Engaging in postgraduate continuing education activities for the division
• Encourage and support the division's research initiatives, including those led by other division members
• Assist in the programmatic growth of the division
• Support satellite initiatives of the division when appropriate
