Job Opportunity: Pediatric Cardiologist

Our organization is in search of a Board Certified or Board Eligible Pediatric Cardiologist. While a focus on non-invasive imaging is preferred, it is not mandatory.

Role Overview

The selected candidate will become part of a dedicated team of academic pediatric cardiologists, delivering a comprehensive range of clinical pediatric cardiology services. This includes expertise in:

• Multi-modal diagnostic imaging
• Interventional cardiology
• Electrophysiology
• Fetal cardiology
• Heart failure management
• Cardiac transplantation
• Pulmonary hypertension

Academic positions will be available starting at the Assistant/Associate Professor level, with adjustments based on prior experience.

About Our Children's Hospital

Our Children’s Hospital is a 364-bed tertiary/quaternary facility located in Loma Linda, California, serving the pediatric population of the Inland Empire and the broader Southern California area. A new, state-of-the-art medical center was inaugurated in 2021, which now houses pediatric cardiac imaging services, including:

• Echocardiography
• Stress testing
• Catheterization laboratories featuring two advanced biplane Siemens Artis q.Zen labs

Our Heart program has been recognized among the top 10 by US News and World Report, performing around 300 cardiac surgeries annually and conducting numerous catheterization procedures. We also perform approximately 9,000 echocardiograms each year, including 1,100 fetal echocardiograms.

Compensation and Benefits

The starting base salary for this position ranges from $296,000 to $345,000, adjusted based on experience and faculty rank. This figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity incentives, which will be discussed during the recruitment process. Our benefits package includes:
