Compensation

Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.

Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $23.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation for this position may vary based on experience. Salary decisions are influenced by various factors, including the minimum qualifications outlined in the job description, the work location, any required travel, and current market conditions. Job Responsibilities

As a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our Automotive Service Center, including but not limited to:

• Delivering exceptional customer service
• Repairing and installing tires
• Balancing wheels
• Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive components
• Performing oil changes
• Repairing brake systems
• Fixing starting and charging systems
• Working on steering and suspension systems
• Installing shocks and struts
• Conducting alignments
• Installing trailer hitches and wiring
• Completing other assigned duties with ongoing on-the-job training

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver’s license
• Strong communication skills are essential
• Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend
• Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
• Proficiency in reading and speaking English
• Effective communication with customers and team members
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Previous auto repair experience is preferred
• Prior retail experience is also preferred
• For Michigan Stores Only: ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II, and ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level III, or equivalent Michigan certifications.
