Weekend premium pay of $2.50 per hour for Saturday and Sunday shifts.
Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $23.00 per hour. Please note that the compensation for this position may vary based on experience. Job ResponsibilitiesAs a Service Center Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks within our Automotive Service Center, including but not limited to:
- Delivering exceptional customer service
- Repairing and installing tires
- Balancing wheels
- Installing batteries, headlamps, and other basic automotive components
- Performing oil changes
- Repairing brake systems
- Fixing starting and charging systems
- Working on steering and suspension systems
- Installing shocks and struts
- Conducting alignments
- Installing trailer hitches and wiring
- Completing other assigned duties with ongoing on-the-job training
- Must hold a valid driver’s license
- Strong communication skills are essential
- Availability to work evenings and at least every other weekend
- Ability to pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks
- Proficiency in reading and speaking English
- Effective communication with customers and team members
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Previous auto repair experience is preferred
- Prior retail experience is also preferred
- For Michigan Stores Only: ASE A4 and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level II, and ASE A3, A4, A5, and A6 Certifications are required for Tech Level III, or equivalent Michigan certifications.
