Full-Time Cardiologist Physician with Specialty Services at Our Healthcare System
Our organization, in partnership with the Division of Cardiology at a prestigious medical school, is on the lookout for an academic cardiologist with a focus on cardiovascular imaging. The preferred candidate will possess advanced skills in imaging techniques such as echocardiography and cardiac MRI. This role offers a chance to thrive in patient care, education, and research while being part of a dynamic academic community. Candidates may be considered for an academic position at the level of Assistant or Associate Professor, depending on their experience.
*This is a full-time, permanent role. The work schedule will be discussed during the interview.

*CME reimbursement is available up to $1,100 annually.

*Education Debt Reduction Program (Student Loan Repayment): This program provides reimbursement for student loan payments. Key Responsibilities:Deliver expert care in cardiovascular imaging (e.g., echocardiography, cardiac MRI).
Participate in both inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities.
Engage in significant research and publish results in peer-reviewed journals.
Seek funding opportunities for research initiatives.
Educate and mentor medical students, residents, fellows, and other trainees.
Design and present educational programs, including lectures and workshops.
Contribute to curriculum development and other educational projects.
Support section objectives, strategic planning, and interdisciplinary committees to improve clinical and research functions.
Proven excellence in clinical practice with significant expertise in imaging.
A strong passion for teaching and mentoring across all levels.
The following qualifications are required for this position:
U.S. citizenship (non-citizens may be considered if qualified citizens cannot be recruited).
M.D. or D.O. degree.
Board certification in Cardiology.
A full, active, and unrestricted medical license in any state.
Completion of a residency in an accredited core specialty training program, leading to eligibility for board certification.
