Outpatient Neurology - Physician - Albany/Clifton Park, NY

Our organization is actively looking for additional Outpatient Neurologists to join our expanding team at St. Peters Neurology, situated in the vibrant Capital Region of New York.

We are open to welcoming new graduates and provide a nurturing environment with seasoned physicians eager to offer mentorship. Recently, our practice transitioned to a modern, state-of-the-art office designed to enhance both patient experiences and provider satisfaction.

• Outpatient role from Monday to Friday, featuring a shared call rotation among providers.

• Join an established practice comprising three full-time physicians and a team of two advanced practitioners, focusing on general neurology care in the outpatient setting and inpatient rounding/consultation at Samaritan Hospital in Troy.

• Enjoy shared rotational call and robust practice support.

• Proficiency in performing EMG/NCS and EEG is required.

• Opportunities to read sleep studies are available.

• Access to sub-specialties, including an MS Headache Center, along with strong Hospitalist support.

• Specialization opportunities in neuromuscular and epilepsy are available on dedicated days for those with relevant expertise.

Candidates should meet the following criteria:

• Board Certification in Neurology.

• Fellowship training in various sub-specialties is welcomed but not mandatory (the primary focus is general care).

• Applicants should demonstrate excellent clinical and communication skills, along with a strong commitment to team-oriented, high-quality care.

• A desire to provide general neurological care is essential.

Our organization offers a comprehensive salary and benefits package that includes:

• A competitive salary range of $340,000 to $360,000.

• The stated salary represents the starting range of total compensation and does not account for productivity bonuses, quality and performance incentives, extra shift bonuses, and other applicable cash compensation. Additionally, providers typically receive a CME allowance and other benefits from their medical group employer. Please note that this salary range is provided in accordance with state law and may vary based on the factors mentioned.

• A signing bonus of $25,000.

• A retention bonus of $15,000 upon reaching the two-year anniversary.

• Paid malpractice coverage, including post-employment tail coverage.

• Five days of CME time with a $4,500 expense allowance.
