Position Overview
We are looking for a full-time Board Certified/Board Eligible Neurologist to join our growing multispecialty medical group. This role presents an excellent opportunity for a physician who appreciates a collaborative, patient-centered outpatient practice and is eager to establish a long-term career within a physician-led environment.
We invite applications from candidates with general neurology training as well as those with fellowship training in areas such as Movement Disorders, Epilepsy, Neuro-Immunology/Multiple Sclerosis, Cognitive Disorders, or other neurology subspecialties. All specialties will be carefully considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough outpatient evaluations, diagnoses, and management of patients with various neurological conditions.
- Create personalized treatment plans and collaborate with primary care providers and specialists.
- Interpret and apply diagnostic studies, including EEG, EMG/NCS, neuroimaging, and laboratory tests.
- Perform neurologic procedures within the scope of your training and credentials.
- Engage in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the establishment of clinical best practices.
- Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record.
- Work alongside clinical and administrative staff to promote efficient clinic operations and enhance the patient experience.
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development to uphold clinical excellence.
- Contribute to the development of subspecialty programs based on your training and interests.
Qualifications:
- MD or DO degree.
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
- Fellowship training in a neurology subspecialty is welcomed but not mandatory.
- Eligibility for medical licensure in Connecticut.
- A strong dedication to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care.
