Child Psychiatrist - Per Diem
Job Description
Our organization is looking for a Board Eligible/Board Certified Child Psychiatrist to become a part of our team at the Behavioral Medicine Center within the Department of Psychiatry. This role entails providing onsite weekend inpatient care for child behavioral health units, along with concurrent call coverage.
The work schedule can be flexible, either intermittent or regularly scheduled, based on the needs of the department.
Key ResponsibilitiesPerforming inpatient rounds and addressing acute psychiatric conditions, with or without the assistance of residents and/or nurse practitioners.
Responding to calls and collaborating with psychiatric residents to discuss and manage cases.
Working alongside a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure comprehensive care.
Offering supervision or consultation to residents and/or nurse practitioners when they are present.
The duties may be carried out independently or in collaboration with Nurse Practitioners, and in a training environment, may involve working with residents and/or students when available.
Compensation and BenefitsThe starting base compensation for this position ranges from $190 to $195 per hour, which is adjusted based on years of experience and/or faculty rank. Please note that this figure does not include variable compensation or additional productivity bonuses and is subject to the specific compensation plans of the department. Further details regarding compensation will be discussed during the recruitment process.
