Our organization is currently in search of a dedicated and experienced Hepatologist to enhance our flourishing Gastroenterology practice at the Thayer Center for Health located in Waterville, Maine. This position is exclusively outpatient and involves joining a vibrant team of 5 gastroenterologists and 10 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs). Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver specialized outpatient consultations, diagnoses, management, and treatment for liver-related conditions such as hepatitis, cirrhosis, liver cancer, fatty liver disease, and liver failure.
- Work collaboratively with our established team of gastroenterologists and APPs to provide comprehensive and integrated patient care.
- Analyze diagnostic imaging and laboratory results relevant to hepatology.
- Inform and educate patients and their families about disease management, lifestyle modifications, and preventive health measures concerning liver health.
Practice Highlights:
- No on-call duties: Enjoy a strictly outpatient practice with no weekend or holiday hours.
- Consistent Schedule: 36 hours dedicated to patient care each week, along with 4 hours allocated for administrative tasks.
