Academic Endocrinologist
Job Description
Our organization is seeking to hire an Academic Endocrinologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level within the Division of Endocrinology. This position involves engaging in clinical practice while also providing educational support to students, residents, and fellows.
Key Responsibilities and Opportunities- Engage in bimonthly multidisciplinary conferences focusing on thyroid, pituitary, and pathology cases.
- Gain experience with a diverse range of endocrinopathies as part of a tertiary referral center.
- Collaborate with a dedicated diabetes education team, which includes Certified Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (CDCES).
- Utilize an ultrasonography suite for conducting thyroid ultrasounds and fine needle aspirations (FNAs).
- Foster a collegial atmosphere that prioritizes multidisciplinary approaches to patient care and research.
- Instruct medical students, residents, and fellows in various endocrinology topics.
- Explore opportunities to specialize in specific areas of endocrinology, such as thyroid, pituitary, diabetes, or transgender medicine, if desired.
- MD/DO or equivalent, with board certification or eligibility in Endocrinology.
- A strong dedication to education and teaching is essential.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented, multidisciplinary setting.
The salary for this position is competitive, ranging from $200,000 to $220,000, with the potential for incentive bonuses.
