Potential earnings range from $700,000 to $1,000,000
Organization: Our organization is thrilled to announce the launch of a new Oral Surgery suite in Silver Spring, MD, set to open in August 2026. We are in search of a Full-Time Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon to spearhead this cutting-edge facility and cater to an established network of pediatric and orthodontic referrals in the area.
This innovative Oral Surgery suite will include:
Four fully equipped operatories
One dedicated consultation room
One private recovery area
In-office CBCT imaging for thorough diagnostics
A strong referral base from nearby PPO and FFS pediatric and orthodontic practices within our network
Mentorship opportunities with local oral surgeons
Position Overview
The Oral Surgeon will deliver comprehensive oral and maxillofacial surgical care to patients referred from partner practices and the wider community. This full-time role requires a commitment of five days per week, offering competitive compensation and opportunities for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct full-scope oral and maxillofacial surgeries, including:
Routine and complex extractions
Dental implants and bone grafting procedures
Exposure and bonding of impacted teeth
Management of oral pathology and infections
Administration of IV sedation and anesthesia
Orthognathic and trauma-related surgeries (if desired)
Assess and diagnose patients utilizing CBCT and digital imaging
Uphold the highest standards of patient care and safety
Collaborate with referring physicians to develop comprehensive treatment plans
Lead and mentor a clinical team in a high-quality surgical setting
Ensure accurate and detailed clinical documentation
Requirements
DMD or DDS degree from an accredited dental institution
Completion of a CODA-accredited residency program in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Board-certified or board-eligible in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery
Active or eligible for a Maryland Dental License and sedation permit
Current ACLS and BLS certifications
Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
Dedication to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development
