Job Opportunity: Pediatric Epileptologist

Our organization is on the lookout for a skilled pediatric epileptologist with a focus on epilepsy surgery to become part of a dedicated team of seven child neurologists within our Division of Pediatric Neurology. The Neuroscience Center offers a comprehensive array of pediatric neurology services, supported by a multidisciplinary team that includes child neurologists specializing in various sub-disciplines, pediatric neurosurgeons, and a pediatric neuropsychologist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for complex pediatric patients.
  • Assess and manage patients in the epilepsy monitoring unit, including those undergoing intracranial recordings.
  • Interpret and report on EEGs, covering short and long-term inpatient, outpatient, and ambulatory recordings, as well as EEGs for critically ill patients.
  • Participate in presurgical evaluations and surgical planning as part of a multidisciplinary epilepsy management team.
Qualifications
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in neurology with a special qualification in pediatric neurology.
  • Board Eligible/Board Certified in epilepsy.
  • Experience in presurgical evaluations and surgical planning is essential.
